A Night of Ramadan, A Scene of Fear
Today is the 20th of Ramadan. As the 20th night unfolds, the scenes on television bring the heart to the throat.
Weeks have passed since the attacks on Gaza:
- More than 6,000 martyrdoms
- Over 3,000 targeted strikes
- Mosques, hospitals, schools, and water systems destroyed
Watching all this live, the heart weeps tears of blood.
“When they came upon you from above and below you, and when eyes swerved and hearts reached the throats…”
(Al-Ahzab: 10)
Though revealed for the Battle of the Trench, today this scene stands before our eyes.
When Iran Responded — A Shift in the Region
After the martyrdom of the Ayatollah and attacks by Israel and the United States, Iran responded by targeting American bases across the Gulf region.
- Bahrain (US Naval HQ)
- Kuwait (Camp Arifjan)
- UAE (Al Minhad Air Base)
- Explosions reported in Riyadh
The world was stunned.
For decades, Iran had prepared for such a moment. Now, it openly challenged American military presence in the region.
Speculation grows:
- False flag operations may escalate conflict
- Even holy cities could be used as pretexts
- A nuclear confrontation is no longer unthinkable
If global powers like Russia, China, or North Korea enter the conflict — it could mark the beginning of World War III.
Prophecy, Power, and Perception
Religious narratives are now being revisited:
- The concept of Mahdi exists across sects
- Warnings like “Woe to the Arabs” resurface
- Discussions of regional collapse and end-times intensify
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“A group of my Ummah will remain upon the truth…”
(Sahih Muslim: 1920)
Pakistan: Helplessness or Hidden Power?
Pakistan long expressed helplessness over Gaza.
Yet recent tensions:
- Strikes in Afghanistan
- Warnings toward Iran
Raise a critical question:
Will regional powers escalate the war further?
Economic consequences are inevitable:
- Rising oil prices
- Inflation spikes
- Regional instability
Four Possible Paths Forward
If one were to analyze logically, four outcomes appear:
- Contain aggressors (Israel & US leadership)
- Arab states deny US military access
- Turn conflict into Sunni-Shia war
- Escalate into nuclear destruction
The first two offer solutions.
The latter two ensure devastation.
“Do not incline toward the ظلم (oppressors)…”
(Hud: 113)
Iran: Beyond Sectarian Labels
At this moment, the question is no longer:
Sunni or Shia?
The real question is:
With oppression — or against it?
Iran’s stance, especially its support for Gaza and Hamas, has elevated its position in the eyes of many.
History shows:
Even Saddam Hussein gained support solely due to opposition to Israel.
Today, Iran’s position is shaped by:
- Resistance
- Sacrifice
- Alignment with oppressed populations
The Position of the Oppressed
The real question belongs to the Mustad’afeen (oppressed):
Where should they stand?
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The believers are like one body…”
(Sahih Muslim: 2586)
If Gaza suffers — do we feel it?
If Iran is attacked — are we restless?
Or do we remain comfortable in our routines?
Ramadan: A Test of Faith
As we search for Laylat al-Qadr,
Muslims in:
- Gaza
- Iran
- Sudan
- Kashmir
Search for it under the sound of bombs.
We search in peace.
They search in fire.
Final Reflection & Prayer
This is not a time for silence.
Not a time for division.
Not a time for comfort.
It is a time of moral clarity.
O Allah, help the oppressed Muslims everywhere.
O Allah, deal with the oppressors.
Surely, they cannot escape You.
