When I was in college and then at university, I was not connected to my Deen at all; I wasn't even studying the Quran properly. But now, at 27 years old, by the grace of Allah, I am studying the Quran and my Deen. I know that Allah's timing is the best, but... there is a pain in my heart asking why I didn't study, learn, or implement the Deen back then. How do I get rid of these gut feelings?

During your college days, you may have wasted a lot of time, but now that you have reached the age of 27, MashaAllah, Allah has granted you the guidance and ability to seek religious knowledge. Looking at the reality of things, you feel a deep sense of regret for the time you lost. However, do not try to force yourself out of this guilt entirely—feeling this way is actually a good sign. Be deeply grateful to Allah, make the absolute most of this opportunity, and pray for yourself and for us. May Allah accept all your efforts. Ameen.
