My question is: how can we recognize whether what is happening in our lives is in accordance with the Will of Allah (the Pleasure of God)? My second question is: what is the true definition of Patience (Sabr) according to the Quran?

You have asked about two things: recognizing Allah’s Will (Raza) and the meaning of Patience (Sabr) according to the Quran.
First, keep one thing in mind: whatever is happening is only happening because it is the Will and Wish of Allah. Therefore, it is Allah’s pleasure and that is His decree.
Secondly, as for Sabr, it means remaining steadfast and firm upon the promise made to Allah, regardless of whether circumstances allow it or not. Even if the entire world stands against you, you must remain firm on the truth. In fact, the entirety of life demands this very judgment and perseverance.
