DWQA QuestionsJob Earned Through Minor Cheating, Gifts, Haircut, Moisturizer & Jogging
Dr. Asiya Staff asked 2 months ago

My question is: If a person gives an exam for one or two classes by keeping the book open, and then gets a job (because reading those classes was necessary for the job), and he also stated an older age for the job at that time, but now he is doing his job correctly—will his income now be considered lawful (Halal)? He is about to retire now. If it is unlawful (Haram) or doubtful, how can he purify it, for example, by giving charity (Sadaqah) or what else should he do? Also, if that person is your uncle (maternal or paternal) and brings you items or gifts, should you accept them?
My second question is: Is it permissible for women to cut the front strands of hair that fall on the cheeks, forehead, or chin? Also, does Wudu (ablution) become valid after applying moisturizer or cream without washing it off with soap?
Can a girl who observes Hijab (Purdah) go out and jog?"

you applied for Europe, and then you were defrauded there, and your work stopped, and six or seven months ago, someone also did black magic on you.
And now you're totally broken
There are problems with the person you like. You don't understand what to do. Proposals are coming, but you are not getting married. Currently, you are completely negative. Do one thing: accept the loss that has happened and forget about it. Until your Europe work is sorted out, you must do a job. Being a doctor is also a great success, so start your job, and Insha'Allah (God willing), new opportunities will come during your job, and you will gain courage.
Be productive and positive; either you get salary or not, work voluntarily.
Maintain your connection with Allah Almighty. You will get a lot of positivity from the Holy Quran, and join our Sa'at al-Istijabah (Hour of Acceptance) class.
Your question was: If you cheated in some way and got a job with that degree, is that income lawful (halal)?
The income is lawful if your cheating was minor. For that, seek forgiveness (Istighfar) from Allah Almighty. If it was extensive, then you also understand (the implication).
The second point is, do not be so serious about things you take (from the side). Women can cut small bits of hair from the side; there is no harm in it. Yes, absolutely, if cream or moisturizer is applied, Wudu (ablution) can be done without soap.
And if a girl observes Purdah (veiling), can she go out and jog? Try to choose a time or go to a place where there are fewer people because jogging makes the body prominent. One purpose of hijab is also:
That you don't make yourself prominent
