Can a woman choose to quit her worldly education if there's a chance of falling into fitnah or simply to focus more on her Deen? Is such a decision considered extreme?

You asked if a woman should quit her worldly education and focus only on Deen if she fears falling into fitnah, and whether this is considered extremism.
I didn't quite understand your perspective initially because, naturally, when you ask a generalized question like that, the answer seems to be that if your faith is in danger, you should leave the worldly pursuit. However, it's possible that the case you are viewing as 'extreme' might not actually be that severe. You might be seeing 'quitting' as the only end-point, rather than looking for rescue measures or solutions.
Worldly education has its own importance—how else will you earn a halal living? You must absolutely focus on your Deen, but there are 24 hours in a day; you can carry both forward together. Best of luck, and I encourage you to continue both.
