Ma'am I wanted to ask about the age of marriage in Islam. Like I heard a mufti who said that it's okay to marry off daughters below age 10. So my question is "are child marriages allowed in Islam?" And for marriage consent of both parties is important so how can that happen at that age

Look, marriage should take place when the boy and girl understand marriage. If Allah Almighty had placed a restriction on it, then the elderly would not be allowed to marry. Things change with time. My maternal and paternal grandfathers got married when the boys were 12–13 and the girls were ten years old. The other day, I was reading about Gandhi Ji, whose marriage took place at the age of 13 to a 15-year-old girl. Things become difficult this way, right? This is why it is not technically forbidden (Haram), but these matters are also not so 'affluent' (easy/straightforward) that it's just okay to do it this way now.
Similarly, marrying within the family or outside the family has not been forbidden. You can see there is no single, universal principle or rule (for the minimum age). It is fine; do not marry [young]. When the boy and girl become mature/sensible, then marry.
For example, the marriages of Hazrat Khadijah, Hazrat Fatimah, and Hazrat Sawdah (Radiyallahu Anhuma) took place quite late, while that of Hazrat Aisha (Radiyallahu Anha) took place early.
